Who is eligible for the Iceland over 60 discount?
Anybody over the age of 60 is eligible, all you need to do to get the discount is sign up for the Iceland Bonus Card which you can do for free here. After that, you can choose to get a physical Bonus Card and collect it in store, or you could have a virtual Bonus Card only if you tend to shop mostly online.

How do I get the Iceland over 60 discount?
Once you’ve got your Iceland Bonus Card, all you need to do to get 10% off your shopping is provide valid proof of ID at the point of purchase. This needs to be one of the following items:
- Driver’s License
- Senior Bus Pass
- Freedom Pass
- Senior Railcard
Other terms and conditions include:
- The Iceland over 60 discounts is only available in-store on a Tuesday, during usual store opening hours
- Discount is not available online or at The Range or Swift stores
- The Iceland over 60 discount can’t be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount
- The discount is available for one purchase only in a single transaction on that day
- All goods must be for personal use only and not for resale. Any bulk purchase (6 or more of any one item) will not be eligible for the 10% discount
- In Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, the 10% discount can’t be applied to any alcohol purchases

Iceland over 60s discount end date
The good news is, there is no end date! The Iceland over 60s discount end date is… until further notice. Iceland launched the scheme in May 2022, as the first supermarket to offer older shoppers a once weekly discount to help them navigate the cost of living crisis.
It’s fair to say the scheme has been well received by shoppers since then, with over 8 million transactions having been completed using the over 60s discount!
